Malmö is still in a phase of dynamic development. At present, several urban development projects are transforming the area surrounding Malmö Central Station into a strong regional centre. Malmö’s transformation into a post-industrial knowledge city has taken place at record speed.
As part of the grand opening of the new conference and concert building, Malmö Live, the Municipality of Malmö made an exhibition showing all the new buildings surrounding Malmö Central Station.
This resulted in an interactive exhibition at the Form and design Centre, Malmö. In combination, a huge floor map, models, projections and spinning banners exhibiting the different buildings, captured the atmosphere of this new neighbourhood– the genius loci.
